Each year we attend many of the local shows and events with a stand where you can come and say hello, often with the local ranger in attendance. Scroll down to the ‘Shows & Events‘ section to see where we will be and when. It would be great to see you there.
Newsletter
We publish a newsletter as often as possible, anything up to four a year that will give you all the news since the previous edition on everything red squirrels, our groups activities as well as what’s on the horizon.
Members are sent the newsletter either via email or by post, now you can also access the newsletter via our website (and previous newsletter archive) by clicking on the ‘Choose a document…‘ below, selecting the newsletter you wish to view and then click on the ‘Download‘ button to the right.

Skelton Show – Saturday 6th July with Rangers in attendance.
Penrith Show – Saturday 20th July with Rangers in attendance.
Westmorland Dales Show – Sunday 28th July with Rangers in attendance.
Appleby Show – Thursday 8th August with Rangers in attendance.
Brough Agricultural Show – Thursday 15th August with Rangers in attendance.
Ravenstonedale Show – Saturday 24th August with Rangers in attendance.
Patterdale Dog Day – Saturday 24th August with Rangers in attendance.
Crosby Ravensworth Show – Thursday 29th August.
Dufton Show – Saturday 31st August with Rangers in attendance.
Tebay Services (M6) – On Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th & Monday 26th of August we will have manned stalls at Tebay services.
Dalemain Harvest Festival – next Sunday the 15th of September 2024 (10:00 – 16:00). Squirrel ranger for Ullswater, Justin and partner Zoe will be there with a stall with lots of squirrel goodies.
